What we collect
- Account details. Your email address and your password, which is stored only as a salted cryptographic hash, never in plain text, and we can never see it.
- Your practice data. PQ test answers and scores, daily worksheet answers, generated-test attempts, and the analytics derived from them (dimensions, pillars, failure modes, history). This data is the product: without it there is no dashboard.
- Profile details you choose to add. A display name, a profile photo, and your DUPR ID and doubles rating, which are self-reported by you.
- Membership and billing status. Your plan, its status and its key dates. Payments are processed by Stripe: your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep the Stripe customer reference so your membership can be switched on, renewed and cancelled correctly.
- Messages. If you write to us through the contact page, we keep your name, email, topic and message so we can reply.
- Technical basics. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, privacy-respecting usage statistics through Google Analytics, and standard server logs used to keep the site secure.
How we use it
To run your dashboard and analytics, deliver the daily worksheet, produce your reports and certificates, send the emails the service depends on (welcome, password reset, and, unless you switch it off in your profile, a weekly progress email), answer your messages, and protect accounts against abuse. Peer comparisons inside the dashboard are aggregate statistics only: your individual answers, name and photo are never displayed to other members.
Who processes it
Only the providers the service runs on: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and Google (analytics). Your data is never sold, and it is never used to advertise to you or anyone else.
Your choices
- See and export it. Paid members can download their data as JSON from the dashboard at any time; anyone can ask us for a copy by email.
- Correct it. Display name, photo and DUPR details are editable in your Player Profile.
- Delete it. You can delete your account from your dashboard at any time. Deletion removes your account record, your sessions, and all of your answers, scores and worksheet history from our live systems.
- Emails. The weekly progress email can be switched off in your Player Profile; essential account emails (such as password resets) always remain on.
Cookies
One essential session cookie keeps you signed in. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies that tell us which pages are used, in aggregate. We set no advertising cookies.
Children
Pickleball Tactics is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the new date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, email members before the change takes effect.
